Building meaningful learning outcomes is a critical first step in creating appropriate instruction and authentic assessments. However, many instructors in higher education lack a formal background in instructional design and struggle with creating effective learning outcomes. Bloming Onion assists in the construction of learning outcomes by providing a Bloom’s taxonomy-based entry system that suggests verbs based on the level of the learning taxonomy.

TESTIMONIALS

What People Are Saying

CLARK saved me just two weeks ago: I’m teaching an ethical hacking class, and there was only 1 page in the book on IoT. I wanted to supplement it and needed to find something quickly to use in class that week. I searched CLARK and found a few options and selected one that I used in class – the lecture slides as well as an in-class hands-on activity doing device discovery with Shodan. It worked out really well. The common format in CLARK made it easy for me to quickly evaluate the modules and decide what would work best for my class and then use it.

Portland Community College

CLARK is an amazing and great resource. For the first time we were held accountable for the curriculum we developed as part of a project. Additionally, when you go to CLARK, you find other materials that you could actually use in your classrooms.

Meet CLARK, the cybersecurity learning platform that’s powered by a team of Towson students. With a mission to “code responsibly,” a team of TU software engineering students is running a platform where faculty can find and build cybersecurity curriculum.
